How it's built
How I built it
I built this because I have watched too many capable people go independent and price themselves too low out of sheer uncertainty. The calculator takes your experience, your specialization, and the financial targets you actually need to hit, then works backward into hourly, daily, weekly, and project rates so the number has a reason behind it. The decision I am proudest of is grounding the rate in your real targets rather than a generic market average, because the right rate is the one that covers your life, not someone else's.
