I led product for Helia, an AI layer for clinical-trial startup at Fortrea, a $2.7B CRO. Trial startup is the most expensive phase in the business, and document collection eats 61% of it, almost entirely by hand.
We built deterministic, audit-first triage (rules, not a black box) so a regulated team could actually trust it, and shipped exact-study search and multi-study filtering in the first sprint before the engagement was cut short.
