Founder Discovery Sprint

Got an idea but no proof anyone wants it? In one focused session I turn your vision into a roadmap of cheap experiments you can run this week.

  • Validate before you build
  • Learn for almost nothing
  • Leave with a roadmap

Overview

You have a product idea, probably a community or consumer product, and you can feel the pull to start building. When you can build anything, that is the trap. The hard part of an early product is not the platform. It is proving the audience actually wants it. A Founder Discovery Sprint is a focused session that reframes the question from "what should I build" to "what can I learn this week for almost nothing," and leaves you with a roadmap of cheap experiments to find out.

Who this is for

This is a good fit if you're:

  • A founder with a community or consumer product idea and no validated read on demand
  • A technical founder who could build it tomorrow but isn't sure anyone will show up
  • Anyone tempted to launch a platform before testing whether the audience engages
  • A founder who wants momentum this week, not a three-month research project

What you get

A focused discovery session. We work through your vision, your assumptions, and the riskiest unknown: that your audience wants this and will engage.

A competitive scan. I map what your audience already uses so you borrow what works instead of reinventing it.

A Now / Next-Later discovery roadmap. The deliverable is a board you can act on immediately: a sequence of low-effort experiments that need no engineering, a library of channel and content tests, the signals that tell you it is working, and the bigger bets held for later, each gated by what you need to learn first.

How it works

I run the session, then build the roadmap from the conversation plus a short pass of my own research. You leave with a concrete to-do list for the week, not a vague intention. This is the same method I used to turn a one-hour founder conversation for Wingmates, a men's-community product, into an actionable discovery roadmap.

Typical engagement

  • Format: One focused session, plus the roadmap deliverable
  • Output: A Now / Next-Later low-effort discovery roadmap (shareable board)
  • Good next step: Founder Product Coaching if you want ongoing support, or an MVP engagement once the audience signal is real
