Overview

For product leaders who want a sounding board that gets it.

I coach PMs, directors, and founders through the hard parts: building AI products responsibly, navigating ambiguous orgs, managing up, making career moves, and figuring out what kind of leader you want to be. This is not a course or a curriculum. It's structured 1:1 time with someone who has coached 150+ PMs and led product in healthtech, defense, and enterprise.

We work on your actual problems, the ones you can't bring to your skip-level, your board, or your Slack channel.

Who this is for

This works well when you're:

  • A PM stepping into your first leadership role and learning to manage other PMs
  • A director navigating a reorg, a product pivot, or an unclear mandate from above
  • A product leader building AI features and unsure how to scope responsibly
  • A founder who is "acting PM" and needs help thinking like one
  • An experienced PM who is stuck, same conversations, same blockers, same frustration

If you need someone to run your product org, Fractional Product Leadership or Fractional Head of Product is a better fit. Coaching is for when you want to grow your own product judgment, not hand the work off.

What coaching looks like

Biweekly 1:1 sessions (60 minutes). We work through whatever is live for you: a prioritization debate, a stakeholder conflict, a career decision, an AI strategy question. I ask the questions that get you to your own answer faster.

Async support between sessions. When you need a gut check before a big meeting or a second opinion on a roadmap, send it over and I'll respond within a day.

Frameworks that transfer. I teach product thinking patterns (prioritization, discovery, stakeholder management, team health diagnostics) so you internalize them. The goal is that you stop needing me.

Common coaching topics

  • AI product decisions: How to scope AI features, set expectations, and ship responsibly
  • Managing up: Translating product thinking for execs who think in revenue and timelines
  • Team dynamics: Building trust with engineering, running better rituals, addressing underperformance
  • Career moves: Whether to go IC or management, when to leave, how to negotiate
  • Stakeholder navigation: Handling competing priorities without losing credibility
  • Discovery and prioritization: Moving from gut-driven backlogs to evidence-based roadmaps

Typical engagement

  • Duration: 3-6 months (month-to-month, cancel anytime)
  • Commitment: 2-4 hours per month (biweekly sessions + async)
  • Format: Remote, video-based sessions + async Slack or email
