Bright, indirect
Bright indirect light near an east window, or a few feet from a south/west one. More light means more blooms; too little and it just stays green.
Every 1–2 weeks, less in winter. Wrinkled leaves mean thirsty; soft yellow ones mean too wet.
Chunky, fast-draining mix: potting soil with orchid bark and perlite. It likes air at the roots.
A snug pot with drainage; hoyas bloom better slightly root-bound.
Every 2–3 years, only when truly crowded. It resents disturbance.
Stem cuttings with a node and a leaf or two root readily in water or moist mix.
Non-toxic to cats and dogs.
