Medium light
Medium indirect light, out of direct sun, which fades and scorches the patterning. A bright bathroom or kitchen suits its humidity needs.
About weekly; check often, it is unforgiving of both extremes.
Light, moisture-retentive mix: potting soil with coco coir and a little perlite.
Pot with drainage; plastic holds moisture more evenly than terracotta.
Every 1–2 years in spring, only when roots fill the pot.
Divide the clump at repotting, keeping roots and leaves together on each piece. It cannot be grown from a leaf cutting.
