Side Projects: The PM Who Builds
The impact
6+ shipped apps spanning personality assessment, fantasy sports, recipe generation, media cataloging, and social feed aggregation. All free, all live, all built end-to-end by one person.
These are not weekend prototypes. Each one solves a real problem, has real users, and demonstrates the same product discipline I bring to client work: clear user need, considered UX, clean implementation, shipped and iterated.
The projects
Personneagram
A multi-framework personality assessment tool. Phase 1 covers Enneagram (type + wing discovery via a 36-question forced-choice quiz), with personalized recommendations across six life areas and an AI-powered "Go deeper" feature. DISC, Myers-Briggs, and CliftonStrengths are on the roadmap. Users build a personality card that grows richer over time.
SurvivorTribes
A Survivor fantasy league platform at survivortribes.com. Scoring engine, player pages, episode recaps, and league management. Built with Vite, React, and Supabase.
Freezli (Creami)
A Ninja Creami recipe browser and builder. 21+ tested recipes filterable by dietary need and program type, plus a guided recipe builder. The recipe book the Creami should have come with.
Chronofeed
A chronological social feed aggregator pulling from Bluesky, RSS, and Mastodon into a single timeline. Because algorithmic feeds are someone else's priorities.
Stacks
A media cataloging tool for books, movies, and records. Search, organize, track what you have consumed and what is next.
Card Sort Maker
A drag-and-drop card sorting tool for IA research, feature prioritization, or team alignment exercises. Used in real client workshops.
Why this matters
Product leaders who can build have a fundamentally different relationship with their teams. I can evaluate technical feasibility firsthand, prototype ideas before writing specs, and ship MVPs without waiting for eng capacity. These projects are how I keep those skills sharp.
Want to bring this kind of thinking to your team?
I help teams ship products with clarity, speed, and care.
