In this role

Carina, a nonprofit care-worker platform, needed to expand into Medicaid-covered respite care in Washington. I led the foundational research, interviewing union reps, respite authorities, caregivers, and providers, then mapped the maze of county-level Medicaid rules into something a team could actually act on.

The output was a state-ready advocacy deck and a caregiver-first roadmap, reframing respite from "just another job post" into the urgent, emotional work it really is.
